Gemma holds her meetings in our Derby office, or via video conferencing or telephone. Jonathan can arrange meetings at your home or office if you would feel more comfortable doing this, or you can visit him at our Derby office.

We have plenty of parking available immediately outside of our office.

We do not charge for any of our initial meetings and gathering information.  By the end of that process, we will be in a position to send you a personalised quote based on exactly what we think you need and how we think you will benefit.

Only on signed acceptance of the personalised quote would there be any charges.

We work in this way because we want to allow time for us to properly understand what is important to you and for you to find out more about us.  We don’t feel that you should be charged for this.

When confirming your first and any subsequent appointments, we will always let you know if there is anything else you need to bring.

There is no set timeframe – we don’t want you to feel rushed as it is important that we understand who you are and what matters most to you and that you spend the time with us you need to feel at ease. Typically, a first meeting would last 60-90 minutes.

Not at all. After we have a clear understanding of your situation and what you are looking to achieve we will provide you with a comprehensive proposal showing the services that we think you need, how much they will cost and how we believe that we can add value to your circumstances.

We are totally independent. Should you need a financial product, being independent means that we can find the most suitable solution to meet your needs without any bias.

Yes. We are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). You can find our entry on the FCA register here.

We work as a team so either Gemma or Jon will be available to answer any technical questions you may have and Zoe and Rob are happy to assist with administration matters or take messages for Gemma and Jon.

Our fees are based on the complexity of your situation and the estimated time that will be required to provide you with the services you need. We will always provide you with a fully costed-out quote for your consideration and acceptance before we carry out any chargeable work.

We charge fixed fees for our advice – this means you know our fees are fair and not based on the level of your wealth or you taking out an investment product – you are simply paying for our honest advice and then our help to put that advice into place.

Should you need a protection product, then it may be possible for us to arrange with the plan providers for them to pay us a commission. Any commission that we would receive will be disclosed to you and used to offset any fee that may be payable.

Our charges/fees will be VAT exempt unless the work we provide for you only involves advice and/or preparing a report, in which case VAT may be applicable. We will always tell you if you have to pay VAT before we undertake any work for you.
